Will a lower exhaust unit from a 5HP Johnson fit the motor mounts for a 1976 Evinrude 4HP? - 4hp evinrude pictures
I have an Evinrude 4HP (1976), which has a good engine and the bonnet, but the replacement of housing needs (will look in 1968 Johnson 5HP) lower exhaust unit housing and the adjustment of gas exhaust picture as the same hole pattern.

Good question. Since there is a discrepancy in times I would say probably not. Evinrude and Johnson are being prepared by the WTO and are almost interchangeable, but the difference of 8 years and the abilities of the different horses make me skeptical that this could work
